We are seeking a committed Senior Technical Project Manager for a contract position offering competitive compensation. In this role, you will provide essential leadership on various medium to large-scale internal IT or business initiatives, encompassing financial oversight, scope management, scheduling, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple internal IT or business projects, ensuring alignment with financial, scope, schedule, and risk management objectives.
  • Develop and implement project work plans, adjusting them as necessary to accommodate evolving requirements while adhering to established project management methodologies.
  • Oversee the direction, coordination, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage the operational and administrative activities of project teams within the Information Technology and Business sectors.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Establish a communication strategy to keep project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors informed about project status (15% of time).
  • Identify necessary resources and collaborate with resource managers to assemble skilled teams (10% of time).
  • Determine project timelines, identify critical paths, and assess potential risks, ensuring adherence to scheduling standards (15% of time).
  • Forecast and manage project financials, including planned versus actual schedules and resource utilization (15% of time).
  • Facilitate project reviews and provide necessary information for audits and executive meetings (15% of time).
  • Accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting functional and quality specifications (25% of time).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in an IT role with a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, including applications, databases, and networking.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on team development.
  • Experience leading small to medium-scale application development or infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Familiarity with multiple systems development life cycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of Clarity or similar Portfolio/Program Management Software.
