Job Overview

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at TEKsystems, you will lead large-scale infrastructure projects, coordinating resources and ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plans, coordinating resources and ensuring timely delivery
  • Establish scope control procedures and develop documentation
  • Monitor and report project status, assessing the effectiveness of documentation
  • Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with stakeholders, including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments
  • Analyze and report project status, researching information and monitoring project performance
  • Effectively assist in directing internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines
  • Respond to operational issues and RFI's within defined areas of responsibility
  • Collaborate and communicate with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans
  • Organize the management agenda, coordinating materials and communications for meetings and off-sites
  • Coordinate routines to understand trends in Workforce Management, with a focus on developing reporting related to current and future trends
  • Support strategic planning involved with Location Management, privacy wall, and move coordination
  • Participate in driving communication plans for key initiatives and events
  • Develop and maintain management calendars for deliverables and governance routines
  • Define and produce key metrics
  • Familiarity with BAC processes & tools (Nexus, ITSM, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of PM or blended PM/BA experience
  • Soft skills are important for this team, including being eager and wanting to be there
