Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and debug intricate software applications utilizing Java.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and uphold software documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain code quality.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues efficiently.
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers and offer technical guidance as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies.

Travel: Minimal

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Senior Java Developer or in a similar capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language and associated frameworks.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Web Application, Service, or back-end development.
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms, including AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining APIs and their documentation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git & Jira.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Golang, Rust, or Python.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, including Svelte, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Proven ability to create software solutions and tools from the ground up.
