Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Summary:

Cohere Technology Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with experience in building large-scale enterprise applications using web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and sophisticated domain analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

* Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
* Execute full lifecycle agile workflow including daily SCRUMs, story grooming and bidding, and sprint execution.
* Develop software and extend the software baseline to implement new capabilities and to mature existing capabilities using key enabling technologies and frameworks.
* Help maintain the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
* Provide technical and methodological guidance to the team, while helping steer the team to be self-reliant and highly effective at meeting project objectives.

Requirements:

* B.S. degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 12 years of experience or Master's degree and 10 years of experience.
* 6 plus years' experience with Java development with some experience in Relational Database Management.
* 6 Years' Experience with Angular 3+ front-end web application platform and PrimeNG UI components or similar web framework.
* Experience with middle tier messaging systems, Kafka, Active MQ or similar and development and usage with RESTful web services.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 4+ years' experience working on a program following SAFe Methodology.
