Position Summary
The role of the Territory Manager is pivotal in driving sales performance within a designated region. This position is tasked with meeting sales targets by identifying potential clients, conducting needs assessments, and successfully closing deals with healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists and diabetes care institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales goals while ensuring profitability aligned with Insulet's sales strategies.
- Cultivate and enhance relationships with key decision-makers in the diabetes care sector.
- Promote brand loyalty and expand market presence within strategic accounts, including private practices and major medical facilities.
- Increase awareness and demand for Insulet's product offerings through effective communication and engagement with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address any operational or customer service needs related to client accounts.
- Maintain a proactive presence in the diabetes community and manage promotional activities effectively.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of five years of proven sales experience is essential.
- Previous experience in the medical device sector, particularly in diabetes, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required to engage effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while managing territory budgets and executing sales strategies.
