About the Role

MICHELIN is seeking a skilled Mold Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a schedule of maintenance tasks and record performed tasks in our Guide TI system.
  • Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies.
  • Work in a safe manner and recognize potential safety hazards.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure the safety of yourself and others in the facility.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of all facility equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations and report unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Preferred welding experience and/or certificate in welding.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
