Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Kenbridge, VA

Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday to Thursday

Compensation: $24 - $27 per hour with partial differential pay

Pre-employment Requirements: Background check and drug screening are mandatory.

Overview: As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our plant equipment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, extensive experience with industrial mechanical and electrical systems, and strong communication skills. Your primary objective will be to maintain seamless operations and swiftly address any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems on production machinery.
  • Identify and address faults and safety hazards promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures effectively.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on all machinery.
  • Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements.
  • Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Adhere to safety and performance standards consistently.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and drive systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to learn about all plant equipment and SCADA system operations.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification certificate.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are essential.
  • Preferred experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician.
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • High degree of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, bending, and lifting.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
