We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to extend equipment lifespan.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to resolve equipment issues and improve overall plant performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work a 2-2-3 off-shift schedule, including weekends, and be available for overtime as needed.
- Basic math skills and computer literacy required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and use hazardous materials.
