Job Summary:
Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Maintenance Technician/Custodian. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings and premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash and recycling receptacles.
- Perform light maintenance and repairs on facilities as needed, including but not limited to, replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and tightening loose screws.
- Ensure that all doors are secured and all lights are turned off at the close of the business day.
- Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance and custodial services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, evening-shift position. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
