Job Overview

The District Manager 3 is tasked with overseeing and guiding multiple branch operations to foster continuous growth in service revenue, profitability, productivity, quality, and service standards. This role entails the management and administration of overall business functions within the assigned branches. The District Manager provides strategic direction alongside daily management of a team comprising Field Service Technicians, Administrative Personnel, and supervisory staff as applicable. This position ensures the effective utilization of the designated budget while achieving service revenue objectives through collaborative efforts with Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building, maintaining, and leading a highly skilled field service team
  • Supervising installations, preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and sales support for new systems
  • Developing and nurturing customer relationships
  • Formulating strategies aimed at meeting or surpassing financial targets
  • Achieving or exceeding customer satisfaction metrics
  • Fostering talent development
  • Enhancing employee retention and engagement

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in Sales Strategy and Customer Development
  • Experience in managing Profit & Loss statements, cost control, inventory management, and customer-facing metrics
  • Direct customer interaction experience
  • Supervisory or direct staff management experience
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; AND prior management experience
  • Familiarity with Annual Operating Plans/Long Range Plans
  • Knowledge of service labor products for commercial food equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Office and field environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Possible exposure to noise, heat, cold, and slippery conditions
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to climb a 10 ft ladder
  • Driving company vehicles for prolonged durations
