Administrative Coordinator

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of General Clerk. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of Americans by supporting the country's tax system.
As a General Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks using automated systems. Your duties will include assigning, maintaining, monitoring, or updating work status and inventory records; ordering research; acknowledging correspondence; maintaining, updating, and initiating personnel records; timekeeping; and performing other support activities.
Job RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- General experience, which includes progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the competencies needed to perform the duties of the position.
- Specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service.
