Job Summary:
The Business Development Director will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving business growth. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and developing solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to ensure the sales team is equipped to meet the needs of customers.
Requirements:
- A strong track record of sales leadership, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the high-tech or information technology industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and professional sales coaching/development experience, with a proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Experience in accurately forecasting and managing high-growth sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of sales professionals.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
