Role Summary

The Studio Production Operations Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the Studio Team's productivity and effectiveness throughout the production cycle. This position entails overseeing projects, managing product samples, and organizing product orders for photography and videography within evo's studio environment. Effective and proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, merchandising, brand teams, warehouse, retail locations, vendors, and representatives, is essential. Additionally, this role supports the acquisition and processing of product photography from vendors, which includes editing images for online use. The Coordinator also monitors the Digital Content Team's daily reports regarding missing product images and addresses any discrepancies in product photography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample Coordination: Manage product samples for evo's vertical brands and special make-ups (SMUs), including liaising with buyers, brand teams, and marketing to establish product lists, timelines, and tracking details, while collaborating with warehouse teams on receiving and order placements in NetSuite.
  • Product Preparation: Organize products for photography, which involves tracking, receiving, unpackaging, checking in, hanging, steaming, and optimizing for the shoot schedule, while communicating with partners regarding shipping and inventory processes.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Assist the photography team in acquiring product images from vendors for website detail pages (PDPs), working with the Digital Asset Coordinator to identify and process images for products missing photos.
  • Image Editing: Support the Post-Production Lead and Digital Asset Coordinator with photo editing tasks in Adobe Photoshop, including cropping, resizing, compressing, and managing file uploads to the product information management system (PIM).
  • Pre-Production Planning: Plan and track marketing and brand projects during pre-production, coordinating schedules and meetings with stakeholders, and providing assistance during studio shoots.
  • Image Change Management: Monitor and address requests for product image changes across the organization to ensure accurate representation on PDPs.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments, including marketing, brand teams, merchandising, and warehouse staff, conducting regular meetings to discuss sample coordination updates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sample management, e-commerce, or product photography
  • Proficient in digital workflows: MacOS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge), Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs), NetSuite, and Bynder Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with spreadsheets and product specifications
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities with internal teams and external partners
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and prioritization
  • Familiarity with the product categories we promote is a plus, but not required
  • Travel requirements: less than 10% for on-location support and visits

The base wage for this position ranges from $23.69 to $35.54/hour, depending on skills and experience, with consideration for internal pay equity. We typically do not hire at the top of the range, allowing for professional and financial growth.
