Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Specialist - New Account Growth Expert will be responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for the assigned territory through daily interactions with potential customers. This role requires a strong background in chromatography and a willingness to learn about Phenomenex products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit objectives for assigned territory through daily interactions with potential customers
- Develop commercial game plans to drive new account growth in a given territory
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers in the areas of HPLC, SPE, and GC
- Work with the marketing team to develop plans for new account growth and sales objectives
- Manage customer follow-up and satisfaction through daily interactions and funnel review
- Update the MSCRM database with recap and information from daily customer interactions
- Attend trade shows and visit customers onsite as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science
- At least 1 year of experience in an office setting
- Solid background in chromatography and Phenomenex products or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of pertinent governmental requirements and regulations
- 1+ year of pharma/life science lab work preferred
- Experience with virtual meetings preferred
