High-End Residential Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Superintendent to lead our high-end residential projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of these complex projects, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes.
- Develop and manage project schedules, working closely with the project manager to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct daily constructability problem-solving and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage subcontractors, including scheduling, evaluating work performed, safety compliance, submittal review, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Lead and manage the field crew, maximizing supplier relationships and maintaining open and professional communication.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs and maintain a job log of all required information.
- Represent Dowbuilt professionally with clients, architects, owner's reps, project managers, subcontractors, management, field staff, and neighbors/HOA representatives.
- Coordinate material deliveries, handling, storage, and placement.
- Train and direct field crew members and conduct performance evaluations.
- Maintain job site security, ensuring the safety of all people, tools, and materials.
- 15 years of superintendent experience, with 5 years in high-end, custom residential construction.
- Experience working through design details and constructability challenges with architects and designers to achieve design intent.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Journeyman-level carpentry skills.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring skills.
- Deep technical building knowledge and experience with both traditional and new materials and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Experience with Sage 300 CRE is a plus, but not required.
- U.S. work authorization.
- Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experience.
