Project Overview

IKON Construction is seeking an experienced Construction General Superintendent to lead the Sommet Blanc Project, a luxury high-rise condominium development in Park City, Utah. This ski-in, ski-out resort complex spans over 300,000 square feet and features 49 high-end luxury condos, a spa, a restaurant, a bowling alley, and other premium amenities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project timelines and schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Ensure subcontractors have the necessary resources and support to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee all on-site safety protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.
  • Work with subcontractors, including MEP teams, to ensure proper planning and installation of embedded components.
  • Serve as the final quality control authority, ensuring proper layout, floor flatness, and overall structural integrity.
  • Liaise with local HOAs and community representatives to adhere to construction guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Park City building authorities and ensure timely completion of all required inspections.
  • Implement measures to protect the project from weather conditions, ensuring year-round construction progress.
  • Assist in managing RFIs, CCDs, Change Orders, and other contract-related documents.
  • Collaborate with the project team to update BIM to predict and mitigate potential system clashes.
  • Ensure after-hours work is covered by responsible personnel, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years in commercial or high-rise residential construction, with at least 4 years in similar large-scale projects involving concrete and steel structures.
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to work within various construction management software systems.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills to coordinate a large team of professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
  • Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test.
