Job Summary

Gemma Services is seeking a skilled Part-Time IBHS Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a Behavior Consultant, you will provide direct consultation for assigned children and adolescents with behavioral health diagnoses, as well as supervise and train Behavior Health Technicians on interventions indicated in treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clinical needs and treatment trajectories using observation, interview, and structured tools.
  • Collect and review data to determine the efficacy of treatment interventions.
  • Develop and update treatment plans with detailed interventions and review progress towards clinical goals.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Behavior Consultants, Behavior Health Technicians, and school staff.
  • Participate in regular supervision to discuss cases and increase clinical knowledge.
  • Document services provided using the agency's Electronic Medical Record.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or a related human service field.
  • Valid license for the practice of Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or a valid license as a Social Worker or Behavior Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • LSW or BSL must have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
  • BSL preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Licensed as a behavior specialist in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Have a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct services practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field.
