Become a vital part of our team at SPIN
We are seeking compassionate individuals to fill full-time or part-time roles as Behavioral Health Aides (BHT-ABA) within SPIN's Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS-ABA). In this position, you will engage in one-on-one support for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism, collaborating closely with a Behavior Consultant/BCBA to implement evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mitigate challenging behaviors while promoting alternative skills
- Enhance functional communication and social interactions
- Encourage involvement in family, community, and educational settings
- Report on progress and evolving needs
- Execute skill development programs and interventions
- Maintain accurate data and clinical documentation
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis is advantageous
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Covid-19 Vaccination is required
