About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team at Dr. Squatch. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts payable process for inventory vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Manage supplier accounts and communication, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper 3-way match application over inventory vendor bills.
  • Process corporate credit card expenses and prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with other month-end close activities and provide management with reports as requested for month-end close and year-end audit.
  • Propose efficiency improvements over accounts payable and month-end processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an accounting department.
  • Proficiency with ERP accounting software (experience with NetSuite a plus).
  • Proficiency working with AP software (is a plus but not required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formulas, processing large amounts of data).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries.
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.
