Front Desk Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing check-ins and check-outs, and handling guest requests and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Answer and respond to guest calls, messages, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding the property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
