Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Answer and respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and ensure that all rooms are clean and ready for guests.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Run daily reports, including number of arrivals and departures, and identify any special requests or issues.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required, but previous customer service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
