Position Overview:

As a Senior Product Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our organization towards achieving its objectives through effective product management. Your expertise will be essential in creating streamlined processes, articulating requirements, and crafting innovative solutions that align with our mission. This position requires a seasoned professional who can oversee product owners managing a diverse portfolio and provide strategic direction to our product teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team of Product Owners overseeing a comprehensive portfolio of over 40 products.
  • Offer strategic leadership to the IT product team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Champion a customer-focused product approach that prioritizes user satisfaction and product excellence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in product management, implementing best practices to identify customer needs, formulate product strategies, and develop actionable product roadmaps.

Key Contributions:
In this role, you will collaborate with esteemed scientists and engineers to support the development of impactful solutions addressing critical health challenges. Your technical acumen will enable you to conduct strategic evaluations of emerging technologies, providing valuable insights to senior decision-makers. You will be responsible for:
  • Producing and presenting comprehensive assessments and recommendations regarding future research initiatives.
  • Managing ongoing programs and facilitating the successful commercialization of developed technologies.
  • Developing stakeholder management strategies and establishing efficient business processes.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to identify viable solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product leadership or related roles, such as technical product manager or director of product.
  • Proven experience leading product teams within an agile framework.
  • Background in startups, program management, and software engineering.
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging senior-level executives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Experience with U.S. government health organizations.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
