Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economic Strategist to join our team at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. As a key member of our Economic Analysis Division, you will play a critical role in shaping our economic policy and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement economic policy and analysis to support the Millennium Challenge Corporation's mission.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on economic issues and policy development.
  • Lead and manage a team of economists and analysts to conduct economic research and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address economic challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, private sector leaders, and international organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with economic trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform policy and analysis.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in economic policy and analysis, with a focus on international development.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing economic policy and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams of economists and analysts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, government officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
