Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with clients to evaluate ongoing service requirements, gather occupational insights, and explore a comprehensive range of employment and training opportunities.
  • Guide clients in presenting themselves effectively as candidates to secure optimal job placements or further occupational information.
  • Offer career counseling, including the formulation of personalized employment plans, job referrals, placement in training or educational programs, and retention services.
  • Perform site visits to clients' residences, training facilities, and employment locations.
  • Design and execute service plans tailored to meet client needs, ensuring regular updates and maintenance of these plans.
  • Coordinate activities among service providers.
  • Implement prescribed program procedures and maintain accurate case management.
  • Provide continuous case management and act as a liaison between clients and service providers, managing a diverse caseload of job seekers.
  • Deliver ongoing employment services.
  • Offer guidance and support to assist participants in maintaining their employment.
  • Document client interactions meticulously through well-structured case notes in an automated system, ensuring compliance with program requirements and preparing reports as necessary.
  • Address the distinct needs and challenges of clients, fostering an inclusive environment by referring them to suitable workshops, assessments, and internal programs, ensuring equitable access for all individuals regardless of their circumstances.

Additional Responsibilities: This job description is not exhaustive. The employee may be asked to undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor or management as needed. The company retains the right to modify job duties as business needs evolve.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: The role involves physical tasks such as carrying/lifting items weighing up to 5 pounds frequently, up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity, speech, hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity are necessary for driving and operating office equipment. The working environment is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to various locations. This is a Drug-Free Workplace.

Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Internet navigation and Microsoft Office applications. Keyboarding skills are essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Additional Requirements: A valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage are mandatory.
