Job Title: Community-Based Therapist/Clinician

Job Summary:

Applewood Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Community-Based Therapist/Clinician to join our team. As a Community-Based Therapist/Clinician, you will work with adolescents and families in community settings, providing in-home assessment, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Multisystemic Therapy (MST) or MST-PSB services to a small caseload of youth and families in community settings.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive individualized safety plans for each client/family served.
  • Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
  • Provide family therapy, parent training, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills building, school, and other community system interventions.
  • Conduct MST assessments, including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
  • Participate in weekly group supervision and weekly phone consultation.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Level or higher professional with a major field of study in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other human services field.
  • LSW, LPC, or MFT licensure and prior experience in delivering mental health services in the home/community to children and families with complex needs.
  • Flexibility of schedule and ability to travel in response to the needs of families.

  • Starting salary between $54,220-$60,220 (includes base salary and on-call/cell stipends) depending on degree and licensure.
