About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Lockton Companies. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Renewal Coordination: Coordinate the renewal of current client business, including providing renewal notices, setting up renewal meetings, and delivering submissions to markets.
  • Marketing Strategies: Manage marketing strategies and selection for new and renewal business, and maintain communication with the account team throughout the marketing process.
  • Client Service Planning: Develop and implement client service plans to ensure exceptional customer service and drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee, direct, plan, and schedule the work of others, as required, and train and give technical supervision to assigned associates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
  • Experience: Typically, 7+ years of Client services experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Minimum of five years of working knowledge of commercial property and casualty coverages and services required.
  • Marketing and Servicing: At least three years of experience marketing and servicing the insurance needs of commercial accounts required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Negotiation and Persuasion: Demonstrates professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within the brokerage industry.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understands industry trends and governmental regulations.
  • Professional Development: Ability to attend industry training sessions as required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail required.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Communication Skills: Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night.
  • Eligibility: Legally able to work in the United States.
