Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing efforts and account oversight for designated clients.
  • Oversee the entire renewal marketing process, collaborating with clients to establish program structure, conduct reviews, and perform analyses.
  • Draft account specifications, negotiate pricing, and finalize policy terms.
  • Prepare summaries for policy transmission, ensuring timely checks and dispatch.
  • Generate invoices and coordinate with staff to issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Evidence of Insurance (EOIs) promptly to meet client and vendor expectations.
  • Develop account proposals for client presentations.
  • Provide expertise in coverage areas and current market trends.
  • Clarify coverage forms and options to clients effectively.
  • Oversee account services and direct related activities.
  • Enhance existing accounts by introducing new coverage options.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each account, adhering strictly to E&O procedures.
  • Manage complex accounts with proficiency.
  • Undertake additional duties and specialized technical projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education – High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Account Management or a related field.
  • A valid Property & Casualty insurance license is mandatory.
  • Preferred designations include CIC, CPCU, or ARM.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled in decision-making.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient problem-solving, analytical, and marketing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must embody the core values of Heffernan Insurance Brokers.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $95,000, influenced by geographic location, job-related expertise, skills, and experience. This position may also qualify for an annual discretionary incentive program. Heffernan provides a comprehensive benefits package, details of which are available upon request.
