Position Summary

This role is designed for an individual who will deliver professional Human Resources support throughout various phases of the employee lifecycle, emphasizing recruitment and employee relations. The selected candidate will act as a trusted HR advisor to departmental leaders and employees across all organizational levels. This position is primarily based onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist hiring managers in the recruitment process, including defining roles, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
  • Provide support and guidance on daily employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Advise management on the application of employment laws and company policies in relation to business decisions and performance management.
  • Organize and enhance the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a positive introduction to the company.
  • Support leaders and employees through the performance management cycle, offering advice on goal setting, feedback activities, annual reviews, and compensation planning.
  • Promote a positive organizational culture with a focus on safety, enjoyment in the workplace, and teamwork.
  • Facilitate a continuous learning environment by creating and delivering training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions, ensuring compliance in policies and reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding benefits and policy administration, assisting employees in utilizing available self-service applications.
  • Contribute to wellness program management and community engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Professional HR certification is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and keep colleagues informed.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, fostering effective relationships across all organizational levels.
