Commercial Assistant General Manager

As a key member of the Related team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of a newly opened 2.9 million square foot Class A office tower. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial property management, construction oversight, tenant relations, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Management:
    • Oversee daily operations and implement management policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Coordinate with tenants to resolve issues and improve their experience.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management:
    • Manage annual budgets and monitor financial performance to ensure the tower's financial health.
    • Prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to ensure smooth project execution and uphold Related's standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance tenant experience and operational efficiency.
  • Construction & CAPEX Management:
    • Oversee construction activities and manage capital expenditure budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:
    • Deliver top-tier operational management across various disciplines to ensure the tower's operational excellence.
    • Enhance tenant experience through continuous assessment and improvement of property resources.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead procurement and contracting efforts to ensure the best value for Related.
    • Oversee large-scale capital projects to ensure their successful execution.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $130,000/yr + Discretionary Bonus

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of commercial property management experience, particularly in office spaces.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
    • Understanding of building systems and property management issues.
