Document Control Coordinator

Planet Forward is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator to join our team. As a Document Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track, index, manage, and archive projects utilized and/or generated hard copy and electronic copy documentation/Drawings
  • Verify client compliance documents are maintained and archived
  • Verify compliance with company archiving policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines
  • Complete tracking, logging, updating, and version control of technical documents according to business standards
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Work with stakeholders, various management teams, and field personnel to assure proper document retention
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in the petrochemical industry with document control experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting or administrative responsibilities (preferred)
  • Knowledgeable of engineering document control standards
  • Knowledgeable and understanding of construction plans and diagrams
  • Efficiency with computer skills including knowledge of:
  • MS Office software (Access, Excel, Word)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • AcroPlot (+)
  • VIEW System (+)
  • AutoCAD 2018 (+)
  • SAP
  • Creation of WO's for Project Engineering
  • Update/add/remove fix equipment
  • Accruals experience (+)
  • Proven experience with data entry, data, and hard copy storage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly as required for the position
  • Good analytical, verbal, and written communications skills
