Role Overview: A Laundry Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs as needed to ensure optimal productivity and functionality in operations. This position requires strong communication, observational, and operational skills, with a steadfast commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to all procedures and policies regarding maintenance and repairs.
  2. Complete assigned tasks and projects efficiently and safely.
  3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control in a professional laundry environment.
  4. Collaborate with operations to ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency.
  5. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  6. Engage in various projects, including but not limited to:
    1. Industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
    2. General construction tasks (painting, patching, etc.).
    3. Electrical work.
    4. Plumbing tasks.
    5. Electronics maintenance.

Work Schedule:
  • Morning or evening shifts available.
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, and perform physical activities.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Compensation:
  • Starting wage is a minimum of $25.00 per hour, with overtime pay at $37.50 per hour.
  • Potential for higher starting rates based on experience.
  • Weekly payroll with opportunities for rate increases and bonuses based on performance.
Work Environment:
  • Typical industrial facility environment with exposure to noise and vibration.
  • Personal Protective Equipment may be required for certain tasks.
