LAUNDRY OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Laundry Operations Supervisor who is passionate about delivering excellence and brings enthusiasm to their role. This position plays a crucial part in enhancing our guest experience by demonstrating extensive knowledge of the resort and embodying our core values in every interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Laundry Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the laundry services within the housekeeping department, including but not limited to:
  • Managing the Laundry/Valet team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring all staff have the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Guaranteeing timely and cost-effective cleaning of guest clothing and employee uniforms.
  • Facilitating effective communication and operations with our off-site laundry partner to maintain productivity levels.
  • Conducting orientations and tracking training for new employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Addressing any issues, guest requests, or special requirements promptly and professionally.
  • Developing daily production schedules and prioritizing laundry tasks, while monitoring staff performance to meet standards.
  • Handling guest interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, resolving complaints and accommodating special requests.
  • Monitoring departmental financial goals, controlling labor and supply expenses, and conducting periodic inventories.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and employees, responding effectively to emergencies.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper handling by staff.
  • Collaborating harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Assisting with housekeeping duties as needed and supporting other departments during busy periods.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Legal work authorization in the United States is required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry operations is preferred.
