Role Overview

Our Innovation Technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and are integral to our operations. This position focuses on providing high-quality service delivery of Terminix products to our valued clientele.

Daily Responsibilities

Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive training, our Innovation Technicians engage with residential customers in the neighborhoods we serve, performing requested exclusion services. Key tasks include:

  • Setting up and constructing exclusion traps, cutting flashing, and shaping hardware cloth to specifications.
  • Safely removing animals captured in exclusion devices.
  • Utilizing safety harnesses while working from rooftops as necessary for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
  • Engaging with customers to explain the services provided.
  • Completing documentation forms to record services rendered.

Qualifications for Success

  • A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • Three to six months of relevant exclusion experience and/or training, along with six months of experience using hand tools and related equipment, are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer interaction.
  • Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to customers in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Basic math skills for performing service-related calculations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • For safety reasons, candidates must be clean-shaven to ensure proper sealing of rebreathers.
