Role Overview
Our Innovation Technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and are integral to our operations. This position focuses on providing high-quality service delivery of Terminix products to our valued clientele.
Daily Responsibilities
Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive training, our Innovation Technicians engage with residential customers in the neighborhoods we serve, performing requested exclusion services. Key tasks include:
- Setting up and constructing exclusion traps, cutting flashing, and shaping hardware cloth to specifications.
- Safely removing animals captured in exclusion devices.
- Utilizing safety harnesses while working from rooftops as necessary for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
- Engaging with customers to explain the services provided.
- Completing documentation forms to record services rendered.
Qualifications for Success
- A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential.
- Three to six months of relevant exclusion experience and/or training, along with six months of experience using hand tools and related equipment, are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer interaction.
- Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to customers in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for performing service-related calculations.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- For safety reasons, candidates must be clean-shaven to ensure proper sealing of rebreathers.
