Clinical Nursing Supervisor

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is seeking a dedicated and leadership-oriented Clinical Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations within our facility. This role involves collaborating with a skilled multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering care to individuals facing significant challenges. The treatment approach emphasizes trauma-informed care, addressing co-occurring disorders, and promoting rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff and direct care personnel during critical situations.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Ensure health-related education and case management are effectively delivered to consumers.
- Administer medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations.
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes quality care and staff development.
- Manage scheduling and oversee the nursing department's overall operations.
Job Type/Compensation:
- Full-Time Position
- Annual Salary: $78,500 with a comprehensive benefits package
- Exempt Status under FLSA
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma registered nurse license or equivalent recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience, including one year in a supervisory role; or a bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of experience, one year of which must be supervisory; or a master's degree with one year of supervisory experience.
Special Requirements:
- Successful candidates must pass a physical examination, meeting the requirements for lifting and carrying weights as specified.
- A valid driver's license is required for job-related travel.
