Job Summary:
As an Operating Room Staff Nurse with Kindred Healthcare, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages undergoing surgical intervention, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Emphasize sterile technique, perioperative nursing care, and provision of appropriate equipment to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, medication, or treatment plans to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Oklahoma License for Registered Nurse
- Current BLS
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation
- Education:
Graduate from an accredited professional nurse program (diploma, ADN, BSN).
