Position Overview

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations within our facility. This role involves collaborating with a skilled multi-disciplinary team committed to providing exceptional care to individuals facing mental health challenges. The focus of our approach is on trauma-informed care, addressing co-occurring disorders, and facilitating rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff and direct care personnel during critical situations.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
  • Ensure the delivery of health-related education and effective case management.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
  • Foster a supportive environment that promotes quality care across the department.
  • Manage scheduling and oversee the nursing team to ensure operational efficiency.

Employment Type and Compensation:

  • Full-Time Position
  • Annual Salary: $78,500 with a comprehensive benefits package
  • Exempt from FLSA regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid registered nurse license recognized by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience, including one year in a supervisory role; or a bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity; or a master's degree with one year of supervisory experience.

Special Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must complete a physical examination and meet specific physical requirements.
  • A valid driver's license is required for job-related travel.
