Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance division, emphasizing ongoing enhancement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). This role provides both strategic and operational support to manufacturing processes, aiming to optimize efficiency and reduce overall ownership costs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct the Preventative Maintenance Program, which includes predictive maintenance, spare parts management, and downtime analysis by equipment and frequency.
2. Supervise payroll operations for the maintenance team.
3. Oversee procurement and budgeting for maintenance supplies.
4. Ensure compliance with necessary licenses and permits, including environmental and safety regulations.
5. Maintain fire safety systems and implement fire prevention strategies.
6. Manage all facility utilities and systems, including refrigeration.
7. Collaborate with various departments such as Production, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve production goals.
8. Propose, develop, and execute initiatives to enhance machinery and plant equipment for improved efficiency.
9. Prepare and manage capital project proposals.
10. Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the maintenance team.
11. Exhibit flexibility and a proactive approach to ensure tasks are completed effectively, including being available for on-call duties.
12. Establish, communicate, and implement departmental expectations.
13. Assist in fulfilling the production schedule and supporting operational needs.
14. Work with management to ensure effective organizational structure and clarity in roles and responsibilities.
15. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, tools, and record-keeping practices.
16. Comply with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and quality processes.
17. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:
Lead the entire maintenance team, including supervisors, controls engineers, planners, and technicians.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of systems with advanced instrumentation and automation.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, 5-S principles, and TPM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and present effectively.
- Capacity to drive momentum and facilitate organizational change.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in Oracle being a plus.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and skills.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary.

Work Environment:
This role involves a mix of office and manufacturing environments, with approximately equal time spent in each setting.
