Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze invoice aging reports on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
    • Use data analytics to monitor unit performance and make informed decisions to optimize accounts payable processes.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other departments.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of AP professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with accounts payable processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate's degree in accounting or business with 3+ years of accounting experience and/or training.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
