Job Summary

Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the efficient maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the facility and equipment in a safe and operational state of readiness at all times. This will involve supervising a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance records and reports.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and development of maintenance personnel.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, maintenance management) and five years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, with a strong understanding of safety and quality procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as production schedules, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.

Shift: 2nd

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

Aspire Bakeries offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
