Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and ensure that all machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Supervise the Maintenance Team: Provide guidance, training, and support to the maintenance team to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules: Create and implement schedules for regular maintenance and repairs to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment Issues: Diagnose and repair equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Ensure Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering Teams: Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and plant efficiency.
  • Manage Spare Parts Inventory: Oversee the inventory of spare parts and ensure the availability of critical components.
  • Manage the Maintenance Budget: Manage the maintenance budget, including costs related to repairs, spare parts, and labor.
  • Track and Analyze Maintenance Metrics: Track and analyze maintenance metrics, such as downtime and repairs, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with External Vendors: Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Develop and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure Proper Training for Maintenance Staff: Ensure that maintenance staff receive proper training on the latest techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a Related Field: A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in a Maintenance Role: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatic Systems: The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs and CMMS Software: Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills: The candidate should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Leadership, Communication, and Organizational Skills: The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and Prioritize Tasks Effectively: The candidate should be able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Using Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Software: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and maintenance management software is required.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-Time Position: This is a full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
