Position Overview:
The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external guests. Responsibilities include the preparation and breakdown of tables, buffet lines, beverage service, food presentation, and maintaining cleanliness in banquet areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding guest service by embodying the company’s service philosophy. Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Familiarize oneself with all dining outlets and service functions to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
  • Ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction by positively influencing interactions with patrons and team members.
  • Prepare tables and beverages, ensuring all necessary condiments are available.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in banquet areas.
  • Collaborate with fellow service staff to deliver a superior level of service.
  • Anticipate guest needs throughout events, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Accurately process payments for all orders using the point-of-sale system.
  • Set up and dismantle event spaces, ensuring readiness for subsequent functions.
  • Coordinate with banquet staff and other service personnel to enhance guest experiences.
  • Monitor supply levels and restock items as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining dining and service areas according to established standards.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of table arrangements, operational hours, and service protocols.
  • Implement responsible alcohol service practices to mitigate issues related to excessive drinking.
  • Adhere to health regulations concerning food handling and cleanliness.
  • Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Utilize and maintain all assigned equipment and areas in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Participate in training programs as scheduled to enhance service skills.
  • Perform all tasks with a focus on detail, sanitation, and safety.
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by supervisors.
  • Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Exhibit resilience in managing challenging guest interactions and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
