Position Overview:
The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external guests. This includes the preparation and dismantling of tables, buffet lines, beverage arrangements, food service, and maintaining cleanliness in banquet areas.

Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are general in nature and may vary by specific position:

  • Provide outstanding guest service in alignment with company standards, ensuring a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Become knowledgeable about all dining outlets and service functions to effectively address guest inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized banquet environment.
  • Set tables and prepare beverages and condiments as required.
  • Collaborate with fellow service staff to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Anticipate guest needs throughout events, ensuring satisfaction and promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Accurately process and collect payments through the point-of-sale system.
  • Prepare for and break down events, ensuring readiness for subsequent functions.
  • Monitor supply levels and restock items as necessary.
  • Ensure dining and service areas are maintained according to established standards.
  • Adhere to health regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness.
  • Uphold all relevant liquor regulations, ensuring responsible service.
  • Utilize all assigned equipment safely and effectively.
  • Attend scheduled training sessions to enhance service skills.
  • Perform all duties with a focus on detail, sanitation, and safety.
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Demonstrate resilience in managing challenging guest interactions.
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Execute all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates typically possess:

  • Experience handling large trays with multiple dishes.
  • Knowledge of wine service and table etiquette.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to navigate banquet areas efficiently.
