The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a dedicated Event Registration Coordinator to enhance our operational support for various council activities. This position is pivotal in managing registrations for all council events, including programs and facility rentals. The role demands exceptional customer service skills as you will assist individuals in registering for programs or securing reservations for our scenic camp properties.
An ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service, exhibit superior organizational abilities, and demonstrate effective time management skills. Problem-solving capabilities and prior experience in registration, customer support, data entry, or general administrative tasks are highly valued.
If you find joy in assisting participants for summer camps, enrolling individuals in engaging STEM programs, or facilitating troop reservations for outdoor adventures while ensuring an outstanding customer experience, this role may be a perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and manage registration processes for multiple Girl Scout programs and events.
- Communicate with customers regarding upcoming events, providing comprehensive details such as deadlines, fee structures, and eligibility criteria.
- Oversee registrations for property and facility rentals, ensuring all necessary details are communicated; confirm reservations and distribute relevant documentation promptly.
- Deliver courteous and efficient customer service to volunteers and caregivers for all online event, camp, or property reservations.
- Evaluate and process requests for financial assistance for program participation or necessary supplies, ensuring compliance with eligibility guidelines.
- Generate and analyze regular reports on utilization and attendance, including annual camp property and monthly program attendance reports.
- Collaborate with various departments, including customer care, data management, property, and program teams, to stay informed about event offerings and ensure a seamless registration experience.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.
Travel Requirements
Local travel is primarily expected during business hours, with potential for some out-of-area and overnight travel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of experience in general office or administrative support; prior experience in reservations or registration is advantageous.
- Proven experience in administrative support functions.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, along with data entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to organize and input data accurately and efficiently.
