Role Overview: The Construction Superintendent at Motz is tasked with overseeing the execution of projects involving natural grass base construction, drainage systems, irrigation components, and other related field activities. Responsibilities may vary based on project specifications, but typical duties include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of equipment maintenance and repair to minimize downtime.
  • Manage project financials by reviewing estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking to ensure budget compliance.
  • Supervise construction teams and subcontractors, providing direction to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Conduct daily meetings and safety briefings to keep the team informed about project developments and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers and contractors to resolve any construction-related issues that may arise.
  • Evaluate project specifications and plans to determine optimal construction methods.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including as-built drawings, to support project closeout processes.

Required Skills:

  • Willingness to Travel: Must be open to traveling to various project sites and staying on location for extended periods.
  • Coordination Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure project success.

Professional Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of construction principles, materials, and methods.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in construction is required.
