Surgery Coordinator

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Surgery Coordinator to play a critical role in the success of our surgical procedures. As a key member of our team, you will serve as a liaison between providers and patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate surgical procedures with ancillary facilities, ensuring timely and efficient use of block time for department physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and ancillary facilities to obtain insurance authorization, benefits, and financial coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providers, and ancillary facilities to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing the overall quality of care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of surgery scheduling experience required.
  • 1-2 years of pain management scheduling experience preferred.
  • Experience providing direct administrative patient care strongly preferred.
  • Epic EHR experience preferred.
