Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Tomra North America. As a key member of our Sales and Service Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients in the New England and Upstate NY Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate coordination and support among various internal departments to guarantee customer satisfaction, including Sales, Service, Material Recovery, Billing, and Bar Code Department.
  • Manage overall customer contentment at the store level for designated accounts, including product pickup, supply provision, administrative tasks, and machine performance.
  • Help resolve product or service issues by identifying the customer's complaint, pinpointing the problem's cause, delegating and detailing the issue(s) to the relevant department for resolution, hastening the correction or adjustment, and conducting follow-ups to ensure resolution.
  • Aid in the expansion of the Bottle Bill in the assigned territory, which encompasses the rollout and introduction of RVM technology, the addition of new categories, and an increase in deposit values.
  • Chart and organize territory coverage across New England and Upstate New York, and manage communication and meeting scheduling with customers.
  • Draft and distribute weekly customer visit reports to the respective functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct store bar code scans as necessary.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred 2-4 years' experience in business.
  • Valid clean driver's License.
  • Language Skills
    • Must be fluent in English.
    • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
    • Ability to write simple correspondence.
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
