Job Title: Fitness and Wellness Guest Services Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fitness and Wellness Guest Services Associate at the Jewish Community Center.

Job Summary:

The Fitness and Wellness Guest Services Associate is the primary point of contact for all guests and members of the JCC. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and friendly experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to guests and members, ensuring a positive experience at the JCC.
  2. Maintain accurate records of appointments, cancellations, fitness sales, and prospective member information.
  3. Operate the main switchboard for the JCC and Federation agencies, maintaining a friendly demeanor and awareness of all activities on campus.
  4. Provide accurate information on fitness programs and specialty programs to inquiring community members and close sales.
  5. Greet and maintain ongoing communication with members, engaging in regular communication in a friendly and outgoing manner.
  6. Assist with monitoring the JCC Spas, including desk coverage, water testing, and other duties as assigned.
  7. Answer phone calls, accurately transfer calls, or take detailed messages.
  8. Welcome and assist members/visitors with appointments and direct visitors as necessary.
  9. Learn and become fluent with our Guest Services software, including Daxko Operations, MindBody Business, Group Ex Pro, and Daxko Engage.
  10. Sell and complete transactions in Daxko or MindBody.
  11. Utilize Microsoft Office for email access, scheduling, and data entry.
  12. Assist with specialty sales, events, and open houses as scheduled.
  13. Report unclean conditions, safety hazards, and malfunctioning equipment to management and Sodexo management.
  14. Assist in promoting agency-wide programs to ensure the productive, effective, and efficient operation of the Agency.
  15. Consistently review all happenings of the JCC to share important information with Control Desk Staff.
  16. Additional responsibilities may be added periodically based on the needs of the Fitness and Wellness Department and the Katz JCC.

Qualifications:

  1. Friendly and outgoing personality.
  2. Proven customer service (communication) skills.
  3. First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred.
  4. Ability to work well with others toward common goals.
  5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  6. Ability to work in multiple computer programs, including Daxko.
