Position Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: The Clinical Research Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the clinical and research initiatives at PriceSenz. This position is focused on providing essential clinical assistance to research participants while gathering critical data necessary for our studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participant Recruitment: Engage in the recruitment and screening of participants for various clinical trials and research protocols.
- Patient Engagement: Conduct interviews and evaluations to identify suitable candidates for research studies. Offer guidance and support to participants and their families regarding care, treatments, and potential side effects.
- Clinical Evaluations: Execute comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations and medical history collection. Continuously educate and support patients and their families throughout the research process.
- Administration of Study Medications: Administer investigational drugs and monitor participants for any reactions.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care while addressing both clinical and research objectives.
- Safety and Compliance: Oversee clinical and research activities to ensure participant safety and adherence to protocol requirements.
- Data Management: Accurately input data into research databases and manage clinical data, ensuring precise reporting of all protocol components.
- Regulatory Coordination: Collaborate with research teams and medical personnel to manage IRB and regulatory issues, including serious adverse events and necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Must possess an active Nursing License in Maryland, along with CPR certification and Basic Life Support training.
Experience:
- Nursing Background: A minimum of four years of nursing experience is required.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in phlebotomy (highest priority)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
