Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Recruitment and Screening:
    • Engage with research and medical personnel to identify and evaluate potential subjects for clinical trials.
    • Maintain communication with patients involved in various research studies, ensuring they receive the necessary clinical support.
    • Educate potential study participants and their caregivers about treatment protocols and possible side effects.
  • Clinical Assessments:
    • Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations, gathering detailed medical histories.
    • Analyze findings from clinical evaluations and maintain accurate records of relevant clinical data.
    • Continuously assess patients' understanding of the research process, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Administer study medications as required.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and communicate comprehensive care plans that integrate clinical and research needs.
    • Oversee clinical and research activities to ensure patient safety and address their clinical requirements.
  • Informed Consent Administration:
    • Facilitate the informed consent process, ensuring compliance with ethical standards in clinical research.
    • Work alongside researchers and medical staff to secure and maintain informed consent, addressing any ethical and legal considerations.
    • Assist with all study-related regulatory matters, including reporting requirements and addressing any deviations or adverse events.
    • Coordinate the documentation of serious adverse events and other regulatory submissions.
  • Data Management:
    • Perform precise data entry into research databases, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
    • Support the implementation and tracking of all protocol elements, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
    • Manage data integrity within research databases to guarantee reliable information.
    • Monitor patients throughout the study to ensure comprehensive clinical data collection.
    • Provide expertise in the coordination of clinical trials and data management.
  • Clinical Data Interpretation:
    • Present clinical findings in a manner that is comprehensible to patients while also engaging with healthcare professionals.
    • Collaborate with team members to evaluate healthcare delivery systems and implement improvements.
    • Participate in clinical support meetings to enhance operational procedures and patient care.
    • Address complex situations effectively, striving to improve processes and services.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Regularly meet with laboratory personnel to provide updates on patient care and research progress.
    • Develop documentation related to patient care assessments, health education needs, and nursing tasks as per research protocols.
    • Act as a resource for the research team, offering continuous support and advocacy for research participants.
  • Additional Duties:
    Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Active Nursing License.
  • A minimum of four years of nursing experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support and CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Phlebotomy skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
