Electromechanical Assembler

*Job Description
Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler B to support operations in a dynamic facility.

This role encompasses executing standard assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and aerospace systems equipment and accessories through manual techniques.

The position plays a vital role in enhancing product quality and operational processes by engaging in the design, development, and evaluation of innovative concepts and technologies.

Travel to various facilities may be necessary. The chosen candidate will be expected to work onsite at the designated location.

Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification change design)+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics+ At least 1 year of experience utilizing precision measuring instruments+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems adhering to industry standards+ At least 1 year of experience with machine shop operations+ Comprehensive knowledge of assembly and production methodologies, manufacturing capabilities, and essential data for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics)+ Ability to distinguish production manufacturing processes and requirements from operational procedures and standards+ Experience in assessing and qualifying materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure compliance with production standards+ Complete understanding of shop protocols including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling safety, calibration standards, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)+ IPC 620 certification or willingness to obtain through training+ J-STD-001 certification or willingness to obtain through training+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly (through work or education)Interpersonal Skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.Work Environment
This role is fully onsite in a designated location. Candidates must reside in the immediate vicinity or manage relocation independently.
